Red hair photo documentary…

I’m a photographer and doing a book on the subject of red hair – ginger, titian, strawberry blonde, orange however you want to describe this hair colouring that gets such a hard time in England (not necessarily Scotland, Wales or Ireland). The book will look at the genetic and geographical aspects of red hair along with social attitudes towards this hair colour in the UK. It will also culminate in an exhibition and all proceeds of which will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and 10% of book profits will also be donated to them. Although red hair and CF aren’t connected they are both recessive genes and therefore both parents have to pass the gene on. My six year old nephew is a red head and has CF which is why I’m doing this.
